    Kenya Science and Engineering Fair 2026 Kicks Off in Garissa as Over 2,000 Students Showcase Innovations

    The 2026 Kenya Science and Engineering Fair (KSEF) officially kicked off in Garissa County, bringing together more than 2,000 students from across the country in a major showcase of science, technology, and innovation.

    The week-long national event, running from March 29 to April 5, marks a historic return to the North Eastern region, with Garissa hosting the prestigious competition for the first time since 2004. The milestone underscores the region’s growing prominence in advancing education, inclusion, and innovation in Kenya.
