Hon. Abdirahman Mohamed Ali (Boor) Urges Establishment of More Islamic Learning Institutions to Nurture Knowledgeable and Responsible Generations.

GARISSA, Kenya – Sankuri Ward Member of County Assembly Hon. Abdirahman Mohamed Ali, popularly known as Boor, has called for the expansion of Islamic education institutions across Garissa County, emphasizing the role of Qur’anic and Arabic learning in shaping morally upright and responsible generations.

Hon. Boor made the remarks while joining the management, parents, teachers, and students of Imam Nawawi Islamic Institution during the institution’s 30th Graduation Ceremony, which celebrated learners who successfully completed their studies in the Holy Qur’an and Arabic Language.

The MCA congratulated the graduates for their dedication, discipline, and commitment to Islamic education, describing their achievement as a reflection of the collective efforts of teachers, parents, and the institution’s leadership.

A Call to Take Islamic Education to the Grassroots

During the ceremony, Hon. Boor encouraged parents, education stakeholders, and the management of Imam Nawawi Islamic Institution to build on the institution’s success by establishing similar Islamic learning centres at the grassroots level across all sub-counties of Garissa County.

“The success of Imam Nawawi Islamic Institution demonstrates the importance of investing in Islamic education. We should work together to establish more institutions across our county so that learners in every community can access quality Qur’anic and Arabic education,” Hon. Boor said.

The 30th graduation ceremony marked a significant milestone for Imam Nawawi Islamic Institution, celebrating years of dedication in providing Islamic education and training learners in Qur’anic studies and Arabic language.
